Steven Yecies
Co-Founder & Executive Chairman, ELMNT IR
Mr. Yecies has extensive experience in developing innovative care delivery models that expand patient access to advanced care beyond the traditional hospital setting while greatly reducing healthcare costs. At ELMNT IR, he leads the company's business growth as the organization scales from its initial two sites. His experience spans investing, operating, and company building for several leading healthcare services and technology companies. He holds an MBA from Harvard University, a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, and an AB from Dartmouth College.
Jonathan Steinberger, MD
Co-Founder, Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Steinberger is helping redefine how interventional radiology is delivered—bringing highly specialized, minimally invasive care into a more accessible outpatient setting. He works closely with physicians to ensure continuity of care while expanding access to advanced treatment options. Dr. Steinberger is a board-certified interventional radiologist who earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he also completed his residency in diagnostic radiology, followed by fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at UCLA.
Gabriel Lipshutz, MD
Co-Founder, Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Lipshutz is committed to advancing a more modern standard of care—one that prioritizes precision, efficiency, and patient experience. His work emphasizes delivering high-quality outcomes while reducing the physical and logistical burden of care. Dr. Lipshutz is a board-certified interventional radiologist who earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed his residency in radiology at Oregon Health & Science University and the Dotter Institute, followed by fellowship training in interventional radiology at UCLA.
Jackie Ruffing, MHA
Vice President of Operations
Ms. Ruffing brings deep knowledge of Southern California's outpatient care landscape, shaped by extensive experience working with ambulatory surgery centers and specialty clinics. At ELMNT IR she is responsible for daily operations and providing exceptional patient and referring MD experiences. She holds a Master of Health Administration from West Coast University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis.

Jonathan Steinberger, MD
After graduating magna cum laude from Harvard University, Dr. Steinberger earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology. He subsequently completed fellowship training in interventional radiology at UCLA. Dr. Steinberger also completed the prestigious Stanford Biodesign Fellowship, where he focused on medical innovation and technology development.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Steinberger is an attending interventional radiologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, an adjunct professor at Oregon Health & Science University’s Dotter Interventional Institute, and a recognized leader in the field through his research, publications, and participation in clinical trials.

Gabriel Lipshutz, MD
Throughout his career, Dr. Lipshutz has held prominent academic and clinical leadership roles, including serving as Interventional Radiology Program Director at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He has contributed to numerous clinical trials, authored peer-reviewed publications, and frequently lectures at national and international conferences. Repeatedly recognized as a "Top Doctor" and "Super Doctor," Dr. Lipshutz is known for combining clinical excellence with a patient-centered approach to care.

Adam Plotnik, MD, FSIR
Dr. Plotnik earned his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia and completed a Master of Science in Diagnostic Imaging, graduating with distinction from the University of Oxford. Following his radiology training in Australia, he pursued advanced fellowship training at UCLA in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Imaging and Interventional Radiology before joining the faculty as an Associate Professor of Interventional Radiology.
Before joining ELMNT IR, Dr. Plotnik served as Associate Professor of Interventional Radiology at UCLA while also holding leadership roles as Chair of Diagnostic Services and Medical Director of Interventional Radiology at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in Los Angeles. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his commitment to advancing patient care, clinical excellence, and innovation in minimally invasive therapies.
Dr. Plotnik has been awarded the designation of Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR), one of the highest honors in the specialty. This distinction recognizes physicians who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement, leadership, and significant contributions to the field of interventional radiology.
